NEWS - POLICE SEIZE 8000 BOOTLEG DVDS AT FLEA MARKET- Owner Still Unknown

SPENCER, Okla. -- The Spencer Police Department said officers seized more than 8,000 bootleg DVDs from a popular flea market in northeast Oklahoma County on Saturday morning.Police said the pirated DVDs were found in Mary's Swamp Meet flea market on the corner of Northeast 23rd and Midwest Boulevard in Spencer.Spencer Police Department Chief Virgil Green said they received information that some vendors at the flea market were setting up and selling firearms.However, while officers were investigating the trade of firearms at the flea market, they said they were also informed about a vendor selling DVDs.Green said no arrests were made, and they haven't identified the store owner yet. The person working at the store said she didn’t know how to reach the store owner.Green said when the store owner is found, he or she will face criminal charges for the illegal selling of DVD movies.
