im not sure WHY we went out the day after my 44th birthday to another restaurant. alot has changes since then as far as eating out goes, we did it quite frequently before my surgery. not so much since, because i cant really hold allot of substance within my stomach like i used to be able to do.
the date stamps indicate that these were taken on january 27th. (my camera has been known to throw a few wrong dates on pictures occasionally, especially if i replace any batteries in it). so, for the sake of argument, well assume the dates are correct.
the chopsticks im pictured eating with arnt the ones my mother-in-law sent me, they are actually from another gift i got form a (ex) friend. Mary Hahn.
she had sent me some yellow chopsticks from a company that had some yellow ones with monkeys on them,
i cant ever seem to get, they seem to always be out of stock of that particular product. but mary went online and got me this pair instead.
its yellow. :) not monkeys tho, but thats not her fault its the thought that counts right?
well. i use them. even have pics of me doing so. LOVE them.
if we were still talking, id remind her that this gift is one i will forever cherish.
heres me using the ones she got me.

| yes, folks that a taco salad im eating with those chopsticks. WHY? because eating with chopsticks slows you down. and in my quest to have the gastric surgery. i used this technique almost everywhere we went. got some pretty weird looks too. but it was worth every one of them. :) |
