NEW YEARS EVE..Happenings and Events

Well, theres not a whole lot to do on new years eve when your not into partying, hanging at some random club, or at someones house for the night. wouldnt really want to be out IN the wolrd anyway, this is the worst night to be driving, too many people cant just stay at home and have fun, they HAVE to go out and do it, and theres no telling how many of them will be dead in the next 24 hours... and thats a sad reality.

people dont care enough about themselves OR anyone else, to party at home where they are safest, they choose, under the influence (and drugs are just as bad) to take their lives, and the lives of others IN the vehicle, and ON the streets into their own hands.

i pray no one dies tonight, that would be a miracle. but a worthy one. one though, i fear wouldnt make it into the minds of those who were spared. i am vigialant about NEVER DRINKING & DRIVING.

i made an oath with myself as a new driver and when i turned 21 to NEVER EVER drink and dive,...EVER! and i never have. and im 44 this january coming. if i knew i was going to be partying, id get a motel close to where i partied, and stay there the night until i sobered up, and id go home. now, i just DONT party...it doesnt do the same thing for me anymore. so, whats the point, anyway?

no, now im at home, wasting the last few hours/minutes online..obsessing over what the background will be on my webpage and blog...lol yes, i lead an exciting life...lol

we did, as a family actually go out for dinner. had some good chinese food, because tonight was the LAST day i could pig out and carb up, tomorrow i have to get back on my low-carb track again...lower that glucose count so, i can have the gastric surgery i want so badly.

so, tonight im allowing myself to be free, and enjoy. because i tighten my own reigns up tomorrow. back on my personal program...again.

weathers finally starting too feel like winter..its been cold, off and on...but tonight you could feel the chill really hitting in the air. when we went out, felt like winter was well on its way, sky was all gray...radio said the air would warm back up in the next few days... weathers screwy here in Oklahoma...allot like it is in South Carolina...very predictably..unpredictable.

we did take a trip through a ritzy part of oklahoma city and i took some pics of some of the beautifully decorated homes....some had gates completely covered in lights...very beautiful.

daniel likes the BLUE lights, says when hes older hell use blue lights to decorate with. i have to say, of all the colors, blue was the most wintery and beautiful.

so after that we stopped one other place (and ill have that in a private blog, written about) and came home, where i am now writting about the events.

yeah, we roll like that in THIS family..LOL
