one of the neat things about this site, is theres a button at the top of most blogs thats a : RANDOM BLOG button hit it, and your directed to another blog inside this site.
alot of times in the middle of the night when i have the hardest time sleeping, i browse those other blogs.
i am seeing a TON of bloogers who knit and didplay thier craft and handywork on thier own blogs...
theres alot of guys that like...CARS....go figure, and thier blogs highlight a fancy car of somesort...
and then a bevy of blogs from other countries...and i dont understand a single thing they say, but the pictures are often awsome!
along with the discovery of a blog that has a different appeal to the public, is the addition of a WIDGET they have displayed on thier blog page...
whats a WIDGET? its a PLUG-IN.
whats a PLUG-IN? hmmmm, how do i explain this...
a WIDGET/PLUG-IN is a net "thingy" that you add to your blog (or webpage) to, shall we say..ACCESORIZE, or MAKE PERSONAL, or allow for MORE INFORMATION (depending on the type it is)..
still confused?
ok, break it down....
mos sites are basic, a header, a picture of the person, stats on them, blogs and maybe even links that you may be interested in...as well as back dated blogs to read thru.
WIDGETS/PLUG-INS are things like: weather updaters, clocks, subscription links to the blog itself, stat counters, maps, and a variety of almost anything and everything you can think to add to CUSTOMIZE the blog to your liking...and personality.
i have found several WIDGETS im am intending to add to my 3 blogs i have. so when you happen (if you choose to do so instead of reading the digest) you can see a bit of MY personality shinning thru each one...
so, be looking for those items (if you read the blog). if you dont, your missing out on the best part of ME....the meat of ME is in the blog, the digest is simply the crust...
